SVC260 continuous-motion VFFS and VP Series compact VFFS

SVC260 vs VP Series: Which VFFS Machine?

Both make pillow bags for frozen foods, snacks, nuts, grains and pet food. The SVC260 runs continuous motion for higher outputs; the VP Series is a compact bagger that takes four dosing systems. Output, bag and space decide between them.

When the SVC260 Fits

The film runs without stopping while the sealing jaws move with it, on six-axis servo control. That is how it reaches higher outputs.

Choose it when your target in good bags per minute is beyond a compact bagger, or you need side gusset bags.

Check in the test: sustainable good output with your product, product in the seal at speed, and whether the weigher keeps up.

When the VP Series Fits

Three sizes, VP320, VP420 and VP520, take any of four dosing systems. The VP-YT puts a multihead weigher on the bagger in one compact unit, weighing from 5 g to 1,000 g depending on the model.

Choose it when your target sits within 20–90 bags/min, floor space or budget is tight, you need chain bags, or the product is a powder for the auger filler.

Check in the test: the dosing system with your product, especially powders, and the output at your fill weight.

How to Choose

  1. Write down your target in good bags per minute at your fill weight, not a machine maximum.
  2. Check the bag type and size. Side gusset bags point to the SVC260, chain bags to the VP Series.
  3. Choose the dosing method for your product. For powders, the VP with an auger filler is the compact route; the VGT also runs powders in quad-seal bags.
  4. Check floor space and power: 380 V three-phase for the SVC260, 220 V for the VP Series.
  5. Test your product on the machine you shortlisted.
