Powder & Dry Ingredients Packaging
Start with how your powder flows and doses, then choose the bag. Our VP and VGT baggers run with an auger filler for powders.
Typical route: powder feeding → auger filling → bagger → inspection → case packing
What Are You Packaging?
Food powders such as flour, milk powder and protein powder. The application page goes deeper into the challenges, the route and the test.
Granules, crystals or mixed products? Not every dry ingredient behaves like a powder. They may need a different dosing method, such as a multihead weigher or a cup filler. We choose it from your material.

Common Powder Packaging Challenges
Five things that decide how a powder line performs.
Flow and bridging
Cohesive powders bridge in the hopper and dose unevenly.
Dripping after the dose
Fine powder keeps falling after the auger stops and spoils the weight or the seal.
Dust in the seal
Dust in the seal area causes weak or leaking seals.
Static
Static makes powder cling to the film and the forming tube.
Air in the bag
Trapped air makes bags bulky and hard to pack into cases.
Recommended Packaging Route
Each step is matched to the product and to the step before it.

- 01
Powder Feeding
Screw feeder refills the auger hopper
- 02
Auger Filler
Doses the target weight
- 03
Packaging Machine
VP or VGT, chosen by the bag
- 04
Inspection
Checkweighing and contaminant checks
- 05
Case Packing and Palletizing
Bags into cases, cases onto pallets
Product settler, static elimination and bag deflators are options on the VGT and are fitted to the project. The auger filler, inspection and end-of-line modules are integrated around our baggers.
Packaging Machines
Start from the bag: each machine is labelled with the bags it makes.

VP Series Compact VFFS
Listed with an auger filler for powders. VP320, VP420 and VP520, 20–90 bags/min,* film up to 520 mm wide.

VGT Series Quad-Seal VFFS
Listed for milk and protein powders. Front panel up to 300 mm wide, up to 80 bags/min.* Product settler, static elimination and bag deflators as options.
*Machine references. Actual output depends on product, fill weight, package and film.
Define Sustainable Good Output
A powder line runs at the pace of its slowest stage: refilling the auger, dosing, bagging and sealing. We check each stage instead of quoting the bagger's top speed.
We set the final line target from tests with your powder and agreed FAT conditions.

The machines, package formats, complete line and services behind this industry.
Which machines are used for powders?
The VP series and the VGT series, each with an auger filler. The VGT is listed for milk and protein powders.
Which bag should I choose?
Pillow and chain bags: the VP series. Quad-seal bags with or without a back seal: the VGT series.
Is the auger filler chosen for my powder?
Yes. The auger, agitator and anti-leak outlet are chosen for how your powder flows, how dusty it is and the target weight, and the result is confirmed with your powder.
What about granules or mixed dry products?
They may need a different dosing method, such as a multihead weigher or a cup filler. We choose it from your material.
How is dust handled?
Dust control, extraction and cleaning are defined for your powder, your plant and your local rules.
