*Machine maximums. Actual output depends on product, fill weight, bag size, film and configuration. Sizes are width × length.
Pillow Bag
The standard back-seal bag. It runs on the SVC260 for higher outputs and on the VP Series for compact lines; the VP-YT adds a built-on multihead weigher.
Choose it when a flat pack suits how the product is sold, and you want the widest choice of machines and dosing systems.
Check in the test: product drop, product in the seal, and print registration on printed film.
Side Gusset Bag
A back-seal bag with folded sides, for a fuller, squarer pack. On our range it is made on the SVC260 with the optional gusset assembly; the same machine makes pillow bags as standard.
Choose it when you want a squarer pack and the output suits the SVC260.
Check in the test: fold consistency bag after bag, and the finished appearance with your film.
The VGT lists a side gusset width, but that is a quad-seal dimension. Simple side gusset bags are made on the SVC260.
Quad-Seal Bag
Four sealed vertical edges give the bag a sharp, upright shape. The VGT Series is built for it, with or without a back seal, and with a one-way degassing valve where the product needs one.
Choose it when the pack should stand upright with crisp edges, or needs a valve, zipper or flat bottom, and the output suits the VGT.
Check in the test: edge seal quality, product settling before the top seal, and any options fitted.
How to Choose
- Start from the pack you want to sell: flat, squarer with folded sides, or upright with four crisp edges.
- Check the bag width, length and gusset against each machine's range.
- Compare your target in good packs per minute with the machine maximum, which is a ceiling, not a line result.
- List the options you need. A valve, zipper, gas flush or flat bottom points to the VGT.
- Test your product and film in the chosen bag before the configuration is fixed.
