Speeds are machine maximums. Your output depends on the product, tray, film, gas mixture and tooling, so we test with your tray and film before you order.

Does the T680 work with paper-based trays?
Yes. We confirm each paper-based tray with its coating or sealing layer, your lidding film and the packaging mode before you order.
Does it work with plastic trays?
Yes. Tray construction, flange and film are checked for your project.
Can one machine run MAP, VSP and seal-only?
Yes. All three modes run on the T680. The tooling and settings change with the mode and tray.
How many trays per minute can it pack?
It depends on the tooling layout, tray, product and mode. Standard tooling seals 4 trays per cycle, at up to 20 (MAP), 12 (VSP) or 25 (seal-only) cycles/min. We confirm your output in testing.
Which gas mix should I use?
The T680 mixes O₂, CO₂ and N₂ with ±2% accuracy. The right mix depends on your product and pack, and is set during testing.
Will MAP give my product a fixed shelf life?
No. Shelf life depends on your product, gas mix, tray and film, so it has to be tested for your pack.
Are paper-based trays recyclable?
That depends on the tray construction and the local recycling system, not on the sealer.
