Sauce and oil on the flange

Sauce, oil and crumbs on the tray flange cause weak or leaking seals.
What we do · Every packaging test checks flange cleanliness and seal quality.

Build the tray packaging around the meal, the tray, the film and how the pack will be used. Our Hybrid Pro T680 tray sealer lists ready meals and runs seal-only, MAP and VSP packs on one machine.
Typical route: tray supply → product loading → T680 tray sealing → inspection and labeling → case packing
Six points that decide whether a prepared food tray line runs well.

Sauce, oil and crumbs on the tray flange cause weak or leaking seals.
What we do · Every packaging test checks flange cleanliness and seal quality.

Overfilled trays and tall items push food into the seal area.
What we do · Fill level and product height are checked against your tray.

Meals with solids, sauce and garnish take longer to load, and pieces land on the flange.
What we do · Loading and fill level are checked with your full recipe.

Each compartment is filled separately, and the film often has to seal along the dividers too.
What we do · Compartment trays are tooled and tested for each layout.

Whether a pack can be reheated depends on the tray, the film and the seal, so the sealer alone cannot decide it.
What we do · Tell us the end use. We test the seal on the tray and film chosen for it.

Filling cleanly takes time, so a clean seal often limits output before the sealer reaches its maximum speed.
What we do · Loading, flange cleanliness and sealing are checked together in the test.
Tray supply, loading and sealing are planned together, then matched to the meal.

Empty trays to the line
Components placed or dosed into the tray
Seal-only, MAP or VSP
Checks and labels on the sealed tray
Trays into cases, cases onto pallets
Tray denesting, product dosing and labeling are planned for each project.
Each module is chosen for the meal and the tray, then integrated into the line.

Lists ready meals. Seal-only, MAP and VSP on one machine, on plastic or paper-based trays. Up to 25 (seal-only), 20 (MAP) or 12 (VSP) cycles/min.*

Made for your tray and cavity layout. Standard tooling seals 4 trays per cycle, and a quick-change cart swaps tooling in about 15–30 min.

Checkweighing, metal detection, combined units, or X-ray where the application calls for it. The method is chosen once the product, tray and film are known.

Robotic case packing and palletizing, integrated around the sealed tray, the case pattern, the case rate and the pallet pattern.
*Machine maximum. Actual output depends on product, tray, film, gas mixture and tooling.
A prepared food tray line runs at the pace of its slowest stage, often loading or a clean seal, so we check every stage instead of quoting the sealer's top speed.
Trays per cycle come from your tooling, so we do not multiply the 25 cycles/min maximum by four. We set the line target from tests and agreed FAT conditions.
Request a Packaging TestA steady supply of empty trays
Enough filled trays per minute, with a clean flange
A stable seal cycle, with vacuum and gas for MAP
Enough accepted, labeled trays per minute
Enough cases per minute at the trays per case you need
Keeps up with the case rate
Choose the mode for the meal and its end use. All three run on the T680.
Lidding film sealed onto the tray without changing the atmosphere.
Up to 25 cycles/min*Vacuum, then gas filling with an O₂ / CO₂ / N₂ mix. Residual O₂ below 0.5%.
Up to 20 cycles/min*Vacuum skin packaging, where the meal's shape, the tray and the film suit it.
Up to 12 cycles/min**Machine maximum. Actual output depends on product, tray, film, gas mixture and tooling.
Ready meals are one of the T680's listed applications, and one machine covers all three modes on plastic or paper-based trays. Detailed specifications are on the machine page.

The machine, industry, tray format and services behind this application.
Yes. Ready meals are one of the T680's listed applications. The setup is defined from the meal, tray, film and packaging mode.
It depends on the food, the tray, the film, the atmosphere you need and the end use. No single mode suits every ready meal.
Up to 25 cycles/min in seal-only, 20 in MAP and 12 in VSP. These are machine maximums. Actual output depends on the product, tray, film and gas mix.
No. Four trays per cycle is the standard tooling. Your tray and compartment layout decide the cavities, and the sustainable output is confirmed in testing.
Compartment trays need tooling and seal checks for each layout, so we test them with your tray before you order.
That depends on the tray, film, seal and food process, so it cannot be promised from the sealer alone. It has to be confirmed for your tray and film.
The T680 mixes O₂, CO₂ and N₂ with ±2% accuracy. The right mix depends on your meal and pack, and is set during testing.
No. Shelf life depends on the food, the process, the gas mix, the tray, the film and storage, so it has to be tested for your pack.
Send the meal, tray, film, packaging mode, end use and required output. We will use them to define the T680 setup and the test plan.
