At the Stand

The exhibition brought together peanut growers, processors and equipment makers. We showed the VP Series, our compact vertical form fill seal machines, and talked with peanut processors about their kernels, pack weights and output. Several of them placed orders for VP baggers for peanuts at the show.

About the VP Series

The VP Series is a compact bagger for lower outputs and space-conscious lines. It makes pillow bags and chain bags.

  • Three sizes: VP320, VP420 and VP520, at 20–90 bags/min, with film up to 520 mm wide and bags up to 400 mm long.
  • Four dosing options: a multihead weigher on a platform, a volumetric cup filler, an auger filler for powders or a linear weigher, chosen for the product.
  • VP-YT: the VP320-YT and VP420-YT combine a multihead weigher and the bagger in one compact unit, weighing from 5 g to 1,000 g depending on the model.

Speeds are machine maximums. The output you get depends on your product, fill weight, bag size and film.

What Matters When Packing Peanuts

  • Breakage: kernels split when they drop too far or hit hard transfers, so drop heights are set for the product.
  • Skins, shells and dust: loose skins and fines collect in hoppers and can reach the seal area.
  • Oil and seasoning: roasted and salted peanuts leave oil and powder on contact surfaces.
  • Giveaway: every gram over the target weight costs money over a year of production.

We check all four on the machine with your own product before you order. The test is free; you cover sample shipping, and you get the result within 3–5 working days after the samples arrive.
