Breakage and fines

Whole nuts chip and split when they drop too far or hit hard transfers. Halves and pieces add fines and lower the value of the pack.
What we do · Drop heights and transfer points are set for your nuts and confirmed in the test.

Choose the package first, then match product handling, weighing and output to your nuts. Our SVC260, VP and VGT baggers and both pendulum bucket conveyors are used for nuts.
Packages: pillow and gusset bags or quad-seal bags
Six points that decide whether a nut line runs well.

What we do · Drop heights and transfer points are set for your nuts and confirmed in the test.

Roasted, salted or seasoned nuts leave oil and powder on contact surfaces and can hold up in hoppers.
What we do · Contact surfaces and cleaning access are reviewed for your product.

Loose skins, shell fragments and dust collect in buckets and hoppers and can reach the seal area.
What we do · Fines are checked on the conveyor, the weigher and the bagger with your product.

Nuts are expensive, so every gram over the target weight costs money over a year of production.
What we do · The weigher and the target weight method are set for your product and checked in the test.

Nuts go stale when oxygen and moisture get in. Some packs need gas flushing, a zipper or a degassing valve.
What we do · Gas flush, zipper and other VGT options are chosen for your product and package.

Small pieces and salt caught in the seal cause weak or leaking seals.
What we do · Every packaging test checks seal quality and product in the seal area.
The same handling and weighing feed whichever packaging machine your package needs.

Hygienic or Standard model lifts the nuts to the weigher
Doses the target weight
SVC260, VP or VGT, chosen by the package
Checkweighing and contaminant checks
Bags into cases, cases onto pallets
Gas flush, zipper and product settler are options on the VGT and are fitted to the project.
LINYOPACK machines
Start from the package: each packaging machine below is labelled with the bags it makes. Handling, weighing, inspection and end-of-line modules complete the line.

Continuous motion for higher outputs. Bags up to 260 mm wide and 400 mm long, up to 160 bags/min.*

Compact baggers for lower outputs. 20–90 bags/min,* film up to 520 mm wide.

Front panel up to 300 mm wide, up to 80 bags/min.* Gas flush, zipper and degassing valve as options.
*Machine maximum. Actual output depends on product, fill weight, bag size and film.

Hygienic and Standard models, both used for nuts and dried fruit. 10–20 m³/h and up to 25 m lift, in Z-type and C-type layouts. We check the capacity in kg/h with your bulk density.

Weigher configurations for peanuts, almonds, pistachios and other kernels are available. The final choice follows the nut size, the target weight and the dose rate the bagger needs.

Checkweighing, metal detection, combined units, or X-ray where the application calls for it. The method is chosen once the product and package are known.

Robotic case packing and palletizing, integrated around the finished bag, the case pattern, the case rate and the pallet pattern.
A nut line runs at the pace of its slowest stage. The conveyor is rated in m³/h, so we convert it to kg/h with your bulk density and compare it with what the packing line needs.
Supply must stay above demand. We set the final line target from product tests and agreed FAT conditions.

The machines, industry and package format behind this application.
The SVC260, VP and VGT baggers and both pendulum bucket conveyors.
Start from the package. Pillow and side gusset bags: the SVC260 for higher outputs or the VP series for a compact line. Quad-seal bags with or without a back seal: the VGT series.
Yes. Weigher configurations for peanuts, almonds, pistachios, kernels and raisins are available. The model and its weighing result are confirmed with your product.
Yes. Gas flush is an option on the VGT. Whether your product needs it, and the settings, are defined from the product and the package.
160 bags/min is the SVC260's machine maximum. The output of a nut line is set from the actual product, weighing, bag and line conditions.
They are built for free-flowing pieces such as nuts and dried fruit. Breakage and fines are still checked with your product in the test.
Our Wide-Spout fillers are not a standard route for nuts. Tell us the package you need and we will check it with your product.
Yes. Checkweighing, metal detection, robotic case packing and palletizing can be integrated around the bag, the case and the pallet.
Send the product, target weight, package format and required output. We will use them to choose the packaging machine and plan the test.
We reply within 1 working day.
