Dry granular products, snacks and nuts usually run on a standard multihead weigher. Frozen IQF products, large or fragile pieces and mixed products need configurations built for them. Powders are normally dosed by an auger filler instead.
It depends on the product, the target weight and the speed, so we do not quote one figure for every product. We confirm accuracy in a test with your product.
A checkweigher for net-weight control, a conveyor metal detector for finished packs, a gravity-fall metal detector for bulk product before bagging, or a combined unit to save space. Foil packs can limit metal detection; X-ray is then assessed for the project.
