This Privacy Policy explains how Hebei LingU Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. ("LINYOPACK", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through linyopack.com (the "Website").

Information we collect

Information you send us. When you use an enquiry form on the Website, we collect the details you enter:

  • Contact details: name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and country or region.
  • Project details: the product you want to pack, package format, target weight and output, project type, line scope, and anything else you add to your message.
  • Your choice on whether to receive product and event updates by email.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in your message.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting server records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. If you allow advertising cookies, Google Ads also collects data about how you reached and used the Website. See "Cookies and advertising" below.

When you contact us directly. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive your contact details and the content of your message. WhatsApp is operated by Meta under its own privacy policy.

How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiry, prepare proposals and quotations, and discuss your project.
  • To follow up on that enquiry and on any order or service that results from it.
  • To send you product updates and event news by email, if you have asked to receive them.
  • To keep the Website secure and working, and to prevent spam and misuse.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, if you allow advertising cookies.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Marketing emails

We only send marketing emails to people who tick the box on our forms to receive them. Our email platform records whether each email is delivered and opened and which links are clicked, so that we can see which content is useful. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing linyopack@linyopack.com. After you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a suppression list so that we do not email you again.

Replies to your enquiry, quotations and messages about an order are not marketing emails. You will receive them whether or not you tick the box.

Legal bases

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil or another country with similar laws, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Steps before a contract, and performing a contract: when we respond to your enquiry and handle any resulting order.
  • Legitimate interests: running our business, replying to business contacts and keeping the Website secure.
  • Consent: for marketing emails and advertising cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Website and our email, and only as needed for those services:

  • Hostinger, our website host, which stores Website data on servers in the United States.
  • Alibaba Mail (Alibaba Cloud), which provides our business email. Enquiries reach our mailbox through this service.
  • Sendify (Alibaba Cloud), our email marketing platform, which sends our product and event updates.
  • Google, if you accept advertising cookies.

We do not pass your enquiry to agents, distributors or other third parties. We may disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights. If our business is reorganised or sold, your information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.

International transfers

We are based in China. Your information is stored on Website servers in the United States, in our email system, and in internal records we keep in China. These countries may not have the same data protection laws as the country you live in. We protect your information as described in this policy wherever it is stored.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contact records for 3 years after our last contact with you. We keep them longer only when the law requires it, or when we need them for an order, a contract or a legal claim. If you subscribe to marketing emails, we keep your subscription until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our host.

Cookies and advertising

The Website only uses cookies that it needs to work, unless you agree to more.

With your consent, we use Google Ads cookies to see which ads bring visitors to the Website and which visits lead to an enquiry. We also use them to show our ads to people who have visited the Website. Google may use this data under its own policies: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

You can accept or reject advertising cookies when you first visit the Website, and change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. To make a request, email linyopack@linyopack.com. We will reply within one month and may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, for example in your EU country, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

Security

The Website uses HTTPS, and only the staff who handle enquiries can access enquiry records. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

The Website is for business customers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
