A Recorded Configuration
Before FAT, the configuration is written down, so the test and later service work refer to the same machine.

The final build is checked against the agreed acceptance criteria. Problems found are recorded, fixed and retested where needed.

What happens if a problem is found during FAT?
It is recorded, the machine is adjusted and the test is repeated where needed. Criteria are not changed afterwards to fit the result.
